My comments: Hi Anna, thanks for introducing me to the concept of open pedagogy, this is new to me and sounds like a good approach for covering different topics to different learners. I’ve always believe that a good instructional resource would allow for ownership sharing between the learners and teachers. Although, I would suggest adding some possible further reading or citations? I would love to have more information on open pedagogy.
My comments: HI Tony, your post resonated well with me, I’m also an immigrant who has to one way or another learn English. This was a behemoth of a task, from memorize sentence structures to deciphering context from conversation. It wasn’t until this class that I also learned I was applying Contructivism and Behaviorism to my learning journey. Thank you for highlighting this to me!
